ARTIST RULES, REGULATIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES (must read)
1. Eligibility: - Submit 4 photos of recent work (created within the past 2 years, not previously submitted). - Be prepared to provide 5 additional photos later. - Work must be your own; no children's work or other artists' pieces. No AI generated art. - Maximum of 2 mediums per artist, clearly defined in the application with photos representing each. 2. Event Details: - Dates: November 15 & 16, 2025 (Saturday & Sunday). - Times: 10 AM–4 PM (set up by 9:45 AM, no early closing). - Location: Washougal studios or nearby properties with adequate parking and public accessibility. 3. Participation Requirements: Please Read Carefully To secure your place in the Washougal Studio Artists Holiday Art Market/Tour, full payment is required by the application deadline. Timely payment guarantees inclusion in all promotional materials—including the printed guide, website, and social media campaigns. Late payments may result in reduced visibility or removal from the event lineup altogether. Professional promotion takes time and planning—and we want every participating artist to shine. Mandatory meetings and volunteer efforts are part of this event. Attendance is required. These gatherings ensure smooth coordination, shared responsibility, and the success of the event we’re all proud of. Skipping meetings or avoiding volunteer roles puts extra work on others. Other Requirements: - Be active on social media (Facebook & Instagram). - Share posts promoting the show and your artwork leading up to the event. - Attend mandatory planning meetings: October 8, 6:30-8:30pm PST & December 3, 6:30-8:30pm PST - Make a donation to the collective art basket for raffle. - Respond to emails, and distribute advertising materials locally. - Ensure professional presentation of your artwork and sufficient inventory. - Place and collect yard signage for the event. - Volunteer as needed. Artist Standards: - Evidence of prior art sales (galleries, shops, shows, commissions). - Attractive display of artwork is essential. - Adequate inventory of artwork or goods. 5.
