I became compelled to learn to paint in 2007, following the death of my sister Sue who was an artist. I took lessons for several years from a master water color artist (KD Allegri) and learned so much, and from there went on to explore acrylics, oils and other media. I express my ideas and emotions through value, color and texture. I am always learning and exploring.
