Artist Statement

Working with clay has captured my interest like no other medium. Texture, shape, and color combinations are endless and challenge me to keep exploring and challenging myself. That is why my work varies so drastically from one piece to the next, there are just too many possibilities! I like to bring beauty to every day life an am especially drawn to functional ware and garden art. I like the idea that someone may be adding a spot of color to their garden or serving a prized family recipe on one of my pieces.
