Artist Statement

My art is inspired in the awe and untold beauty in nature, and in life/death, my spirituality and in the grandeur of my beautiful home in the Pacific Northwest. Creation astounds me and it's where I find the most inspiration, a resetting, rejuvenation and much peace. I have used many mediums over time and lately have been drawn to alcohol inks for the deep rich color and mixed medias to complete any given piece. I also enjoy crocheting my own creations, designing my own macrame, freehand woodburning, clay and many other artistic expressions.
