Sandy Moore

I am a mixed media fabric collage artist. Fabric has always had special meaning for me. When I hold fabric in my hands, I think of my mother, my grandmother and the generations of women who have come before. Using commercial and bespoke hand painted fabric with free motion stitching, I create playful colorful layers. My subjects come from the heart; seascapes, animals, families at play, bright whimsical flowers and women. In this time of confusion and challenge, working in my studio brings me joy. My hope is that others will experience that same joy when they view my work.
